J. Francisco Tinoco

Mr. Tinoco was born and raised in South Texas. After graduating from Edinburg High School located in Edinburg, Texas, Mr. Tinoco was privileged to attend both an undergraduate school and a graduate school of Columbia University, located in the City of New York. Mr. Tinoco attended Columbia College and was awarded a Bachelor of Arts degree. Upon graduation, Mr. Tinoco immediately enrolled at Columbia Law School, and was awarded the Juris Doctor with a Certification from the Parker School of Foreign and Comparative Law.

Since his time at Columbia, Mr. Tinoco has practiced law in large international law firm environments as well as small firms. After practicing in New York, New York and New Haven, Connecticut, Mr. Tinoco returned to his native South Texas. After initially working in the field of commercial and civil litigation, Mr. Tinoco began practicing as a general practitioner, working in the fields of criminal, civil, personal injury, immigration, real estate, bankruptcy and family law.

Mr. Tinoco is licensed to practice law in Texas, New York and Washington, DC. Since Immigration Law is federal in nature, Mr. Tinoco has also practiced before Immigration Courts all over the United States, including Arizona, Florida, Illinois, Louisiana, Massachusetts, Texas, Virginia, Washington, and has represented clients before the Board of Immigration Appeals.
